All submissions are accepted on a non-remunerative basis and should address issues and concerns relevant to this audience.
We do not seek to duplicate or compete with other on-line and printed resources in the field of theology and/or health care. As an on-line community arising from an established wisdom community, we have found that we generate discussion and consideration of topics that do not currently have a recognized vehicle of expression. We welcome those submissions looking for a home that is consistent with our mission.

Articles
Contributions may be very brief. However, longer contributions generally should be no more than 7500 words. Allow the topic and the depth of discussion to dictate length.
- Articles may vary in terms of style and voice.
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of any citations. Authors should reference using the author-date system. The author’s last name and year of publication (with no punctuation between them) is enclosed in parenthesis and directly follows the citation. A corresponding list of cited works should appear at the end of the article. Please do not abbreviate the names of the authors or the journals.
Video and Audio Contributions
Review Essays
- Prospective reviewers propose material (not exclusive to books) to us for review rather than simply sending in a prepared review.
- Reviews of a single item should generally be between 2000 and 3000 words.
Creative Non-Fiction
We are looking for writing that explores themes relevant to Salus & Sofia’s concerns. Creative non-fiction can include reactions to other creative works, but such reactions should shed light on the author’s personal experience of and relationship to the work—these should not be reviews.
Other Types of Submissions
We are a new community and we are open to new ideas. Send in your original work. Reference when appropriate. And be prepared to discuss your work with our editors.
