About

Salus & Sofia is an on-line wisdom community that has its roots in the Health Care Mission Program at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, Missouri.

We envision many purposes and uses for this web site. Our highest priority is the establishment of a dynamic and welcoming community where members can find support, dialogue, and resources. This password-protected online community includes both general and cohort-specific forums for discussions of professional interests, opportunities for sharing resources and inspiring collaboration on projects and opportunites; it also allows more personal communication, such as prayer requests and community concerns, and keeping each other up-to-date on family events and grandchildren’s photos. Our home page and contributed articles and postings are public areas moderated by our webmasters and reflective of our work and mission in Catholic health care.

A brief history of our origins can be found in Today’s Challenge in Catholic Health Care Leadership, located in our archives.

We welcome all who are interested in our mission and our concerns. If you are a healthcare professional who shares our interests and seeks an online community, we invite you to complete the form available through our Login to Salus & Sofia and introduce yourself. If you would like to contribute to our public postings, please read our submission guidelines.

Before posting in our discussion boards, please review our General Rules of Etiquette for Posting on Salus & Sofia.
